Days Gone By: Itinerant artist’s 100-year-old caricatures preserved in ‘Vasco’s Livermore’
IT WAS ABOUT a hundred years ago that a 28-year-old itinerant artist found himself in the Hub Saloon in Livermore. With his tin box of crayons, he began to sketch the patrons, charging 50 cents or a dollar for each caricature.
