What the University of Chicago in 1898 was recognized that women?

I am doing genealogy research and following a track about a female ancestor who attended college in Chicago in 1898 only to leave and get married. More likely is that it is a Catholic university and his family Thanks were Quaker.! While Earlham College is a Quaker, which is in Illinois, not Chicago. I know she went to college in Chicago. Her family is the great mystery of So its possible that she was not a Quaker until she married. However, I did not realize that the Religious Society of Friends had a college. Very good to know, thanks!

Northwest is a possibility. They had women's college in that time period. As a side note, the Quakers founded quite a few schools (not including Northwest), as Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Guilford, Barclay, George Fox, Malone, Wm Penn U, Earlham etc., also, of course, in Richmond, Indiana.
