Hey paquandag…,

You say you have tried several Genealogy sites, have you tried to contact people on GENFORUM with Henderson as a last name in KY?

How about the LDS Family Search? I tried but they were down for Service at 10:19 EST. All you need is their names, and put the country USA, and KY as the state. Once you know where they died and when (if they did already, sorry for the assumption),
then you can get their BIRTH and DEATH records, which will tell their parents. See the Vital Records sites below. It would be cheaper to go to the Town where they died to get the records, you can call or sometimes use the internet. If you use the STATE records, it will cost a lot more. Then go to the library, phone, or internet as well, ask the librarian for help finding their obituaries. That will also list valuable information about their lives, hints as to where they lived, were born, brothers and sisters, kids, and dates.

At 10:26 the LDS Family Search was back online:
U.S. Social Security Death Index
1. Curtis HENDERSON – U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 2 Oct 1909 State Where Number was Issued: Kentucky Death: 30 Aug 1992

2. Curtis HENDERSON – U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 29 Sep 1943 State Where Number was Issued: Kentucky Death: 29 Jul 1998

3. Curtis HENDERSON – U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 2 Oct 1909 State Where Number was Issued: Kentucky Death: 30 Aug 1992

4. Curtis HENDERSON – U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 29 Sep 1943 State Where Number was Issued: Kentucky Death: 29 Jul 1998

This should help, but go there, get the Records that are FREE and available. The 4 records includes repeated records, so there are only 2 really – one may be your Grandfather.

Samuel Benjamin Franklin Kuykendall
