where from can I Download a free Software to create my family tree.?

I want to create my family tree (more like Genealogy) I want to include Events,Outings,Photos,Family video clips & personel details

PAF was a load. The freebie you get with the free trees at ancestry.com is nice to use and it shows all kinds of useful matches. I do something “backward” – I use ancestry.com’s servers as not only my backup but call it my main storage because I work from there and only download to my computer occasionally. No hard disk or natural disaster loss can cause loss of my research.
