Lions’ Jahvid Best had better have more carries than Kevin Smith this season
Best might fail. Plenty of good/great college backs have. But he still gives the offense the best chance to improve and the Lions the best chance to win. Mayhew has a lot of wins so far as the GM. But if Smith ends up with more carries than Best — and injuries aren’t the reason — this would be a pretty significant loss.
