What is an example of an advertising violation on Yahoo Answers?

For some of the genealogy questions I’ve wanted to refer people to my website or blog for more information. Its not a store site or commercial site and it is hosted by Yahoo. Would I be violating the terms of Answers if I posted the URL?

Dad is correct, but only gave you a partial answer, and did not address the original question. An example of an advertising violation would be if the inclusion of a URL for the purpose of personal gain, whether it be for monetary purposes or personal influence(solicitation).
