Why all the rudeness?

Sadly I leaving Yahoo Genealogy answers.
I simply asked a question about ethics on the site and have even been turned in to the forum managers. All I wanted to do was help others that might not be able to afford to use what I have access to. I am 80 years old and thought I made it clear I was only trying to help. I truly apologize for offending anyone.
MY OFFER IS RECINDED and any contact by e-mail with others will be deleted and refered to the Answers site.
One kind answerer did at say” At least you asked” and I appreciate that.
I will miss being able to answer what questions I could as it filled lonesome days but I am not willing to be put in a criminal position.

You haven’t been a member of Yahoo answers that long, why don’t you give it another try. I feel so sad that you have decided to leave Yahoo, and I am disgusted to think that someone could be so nasty to you, for being good at what was once your chosen career. Because of the minority the majority will miss out on your valuable advice, that’s not fair. I noticed your age, I think you’re a star for being able to use the computer, you could possibly give the young ones a run for their money in that department as well.
