genealogy question?
Most records list my 9th great grandmother’s(Katherine Sandford) birth year as 1652,only a few list it as 1642.Her oldest son was born in 1660,so if she was born in 1652 she would have been 8 years old when he was born,and her dad died(6 years before she was even born) in 1646 .Isn’t that wrong?Do you think people confused her birthdate with her christening date?

I think she was born in 1642. It is not uncommon for one number to be mistakenly put for another, and it is unlikely she had a child at 8 – so 1642 is most credible.
