"Genealogy" What is it really? I've been asking myself that for over 10 years and still a great mystery to me. This "genealogy" issue is a mystery today as it was when I began my journey through years long. </ P>

When you're growing up, surrounded by aunts, uncles, cousins, of course, her mother addition to his father and grandparents on both sides. Most issue rarely came before these people. Some feel that over time the desire to get to know more about who they are and on the "others" who came before them. This is what I call, the fascination with life. </ P>

When I started searching for my ancestors, these new facts and details became so interesting, often confusing, however, so intriguing. I've never read any books that compare to this new adventure called "genealogy." Finally my search (sed) for knowledge became in as "addictive" it was almost impossible to stop for a moment. </ P>

There are few words to describe precisely the feeling that comes over us as you find new information that even your grandparents do not know. Anyone who has traveled this road before know that feeling well. It's overwhelming and exciting all at the same time, at least for those who do research. For others, be prepared to be looked at like I lost right! Especially when you start talking about his great grandfather, Jacob as if you've recently visited. That is deleted in some members of his family, but you'll find some of those who give a damn about this great mystery that is working. </ P>

remember finding facts that surprised me While my husband woke me with giggles and giggles. He also was filled with curiosity about her own family, began to find his family. I need to warn you, do not be surprised if you are among the secrets of the skeletons in the closet, along with a few cobwebs. </ P>

There are many who have devoted their genealogy, rarely have they ever fully completed. Sooner or later everyone will come what is called a brick wall. There is where no matter how hard you try, the information you are looking for has been found. This is due to the loss of family members, lack of maintenance records and fires or loss of family Bibles through the years. At this point more than the pursuit of other sides of the family. Give it time, say some months and, eventually, you can find one or two other facts. If not, continue the search for family members, especially children, of whom you have been seeking. </ P>

As
mentioned above, this becomes so addictive that you can barely think of to stop the search. It's like a really big mystery, except it's your own family. It's fascinating to find the pictures, especially for generations, (so if you're lucky). These also are lost, but occasionally, he won the lottery. That's when you can not wait to return to the search for more information. The feelings will go surface for these lost family members, some laughing, others crying for joy to find this great information. It's great fun to find the facts and then try to create a mental picture "that" these people and "what" was. </ P>

This is a great project for young people too. Once you start, emotion takes over and off they go. Trips to the library and you may never get their teams back. Genealogy is a fun way to bond families and make new friends. You could keep everyone busy for a very long time. Finally, everyone take a break, but a Once you choose your notes a backup, you will be so fascinated that will feel like you never left. Genealogy is the kind of book that never ends, because the families seldom stop growing. </ P>

Try
out just for fun, start with your immediate family, to follow back through their parents, grandparents and you are in the novel came from his own personal mystery. Ask all family members, especially those who are aging. Once they are gone, the stories are lost as well. Start typing a name in the computer, you may be surprised by the facts that emerge. Enjoy your great adventure genealogy and happy hunting to all! </ P>
