can anyone help me with a genealogy task I am trying to complete?

i have been doing genealogy for some time. Am stuck on a few searches. Need to know the whereabouts of my greatgreat grandma after she lived with her son in Vermont. Also need to know where I can get the marriage certificate of my great grands. They lived in Vermont before coming to Wisconsin in 1856. Anyone know where?
