I have a German last name, can’t find family information about it?

I am very into genealogy, and I’ve been researching my family’s background and have most of the information from my mother’s side of the family. I want to find more on my father’s great grandparents but I can’t find a single genealogy site that has my Maiden name on it unless I’ve already added it.

Does anyone know a German alternate spelling to “Exl”
I was thinking it could’ve been Esschul or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Therecia and Xavier are my great grandparents, Frank is my great uncle, and Joseph is my grandfather. I was trying to find Therecia’s maiden name (my grandpa’s memory’s fading so I don’t think he knows it) and who my great grandfather’s parents are.
