Genealogy, Has any one had a murder in their family?

I have been doing my tree for nearly a year. I love it still but after a while it seems like its all the same, working class people that died young.

When I order a death certificate, it would be more interesting if there was a mystery or a murder.

Even census records some people are inmates but mine never are. Any one else?
lol im not talking about now, im on about the 1800′s

Unfortunately no, I’ve never had anything like that. I’m much like you, and my ancestors were ag labs and shipwrights for hundreds of years. It’s been interesting though.

The SADDEST death certificate I received was og my G-G-G-Grandfather, who died of “senile decay” in Kingston Union Workhouse. He had been living there for 4 years and he was in the census as a “pauper”. I want to know what happened to his family, as they were living barely a mile away and didn’t seem to be helping him. Very sad, but unfortunately the papers from Kingston Workhouse were destroyed, so I guess I’ll never know.
