If your serious to seek and understand the bible, if you start at Matt.1:1-17, add Adam to Noah, does it help?
Adam is #1, Noah is #10 and Abraham is #20 son in Jesus genealogy,
king David [ kingline is Abraham to Judah to Jesse ], is son #34, his son is Solomon [ and temple and priestline back to Abraham ], then18 rulers is end of Judah king in 391st year at Babylon captivity, [ all time counts, all that ruled do not count ], it is 606 BCE and 14 generations to Jesus under Rome, now 2614 years ago [ no king until king Jesus at his second coming ], at 2008 CE.
Different people have to do things in a variety of ways, this was one way that did help me after reading ten years to search for what I needed to
make it all come together, there is so much to fit together.

The time now is 2008 after Christ first coming, so my time is correct as this
is all I give. Subtract 606 BCE from
2614 and again 2008 CE is it.
