genealogy in China?
I would be grateful to hear someone (in China?) That gives me tips on how to research family records! I hear the Shanghai Library has a collection, but respond to an email from the U.S.? I want to find details about an aunt / uncle that I believe are buried in Shanghai. And maybe find the source of his father Chong Siu Yee .. China went to the U.S. around 1900, their children were born here, then his daughter (above), returned to China with her husband. Or .. perhaps only one type of person in China who do not mind talking to a strange lady from Texas who loves to learn and have friends in faraway places.
