GENEALOGY what does it mean?

I asked a question about albinos and some people told me that she put in the wrong section, genealogy I have tried very hard to find the appropriate category for this and thought that genes are the cause of albinoism (I hope this is the right word) What is the genealogy and what would have been the right place for this post thanks xxx vici question for your response maybe should be a classified section Uncategorised for those of us who arent sure where things like this will (just an idea)

I think some people prefer "genealogy" was reserved anscentors For questions about people. Maybe if you calls this the "biology" because I was going to ask a question about the genetic [ie. patterns of eye color in babies], but then Y! recommended to be in the "biology". I got excellent responses, probably because some people respond really know what they're talking about [ie, people with degrees in bio.], as opposed to random people just express their own opinions.
