What Church holds the largest database genealogy and family history works in the world?

The Mormons. Or, the Church of the Latter Day Saints. They did not like being called “Mormons” before, but their version of the Bible is the Book of Mormons. Go figure!
They believe that it is their duty to create family trees of everyone in the world; they have people in many countries that do nothing except compile family trees.
If you cannot go to Salt Lake City (their “headquarters”) you still may be able to contact Mormons where you live and access their data bases. (And, no, they will not try to convert you!)

Also, it is not true that you, or an ancestor, had to have been Mormon to be in their data bases, as many non-Mormons claim.
